The NBA 2K11 Developers Conference Call happened yesterday with Producer Erick Boenisch and Gameplay Director Rob Jones. During the call, both Erick & Rob touched on things like the inclusion of Michael Jordan in the game, Classic Teams and many other improvements of the game. Both guys feel that this is the most complete basketball game that they have made to date.
I particularly liked hearing about how we can include the classic teams in Association Mode, but was just a little disappointed to hear that we can't take those teams online against friends. That being said, the improved animation system and control scheme and they added another dimension of realism to the stadium experience by having dynamic crowds in the game as well as improving the overall lighting of the players and stadiums. I really liked how enthusiatic the guys were when it came to talking about their games and have no doubt that NBA 2K11 will be yet another classic basketball game in the 2K Series. Now if they will ressurect College Hoops.....
Anyway, you can check out the entire conference call below and feel free to add your thought on it in our forums.
